The new Nissan Juke 1.6 DiG-T can be specced with one of the best CVT gearboxes I have tested. This CVT 'box is actually different to the CVT 'box used in the entry-level 1.6 petrol, as it has been engineered with gear ratios. Very clever stuff and very effective, though I'd probably stick with a 2WD version and the six-speed manual. Skoda India has finally disclose the official launch date of its new sedan Skoda on 16 th November, Skoda company believes that this product of their company will stand as second most cost effective and powerful sedan car in India after Nissan Sunny. Rapid is the least priced sedan of its yet, But Skoda still not compromises with its performance and comfort. Skoda is simply following Volkswagen Vento platform with lots of major similarities in both cars. will be less than about 20 to 30 K than the Volkswagen Vento's . Volkswagen Vento is also available with automatic gear system in its petrol car whereas Rapid will include the automatic gear box feature in its diesel variant which will launch later on.

Skoda will initially introduce Rapid with 3 models as Skoda Active, Skoda Ambition and Rapid Elegance whereas Vento is available in just two variants Asrendline and Highline.

As we said earlier Skoda is manufacturing on the same platform of V ento thats why Skoda is sharing some major parts of Rapid with its parent company Volkswagen which reduces the production cost of this car. This helps Skoda to launch Rapid with some less price which is more affordable for Indian sedan car users. Skoda 's both petrol and diesel variant will available with 5 speed manual gear box system.

Indian car user are currently favoring Honda City which is of 1497 cc but after Rapid launch Indian sedan car lovers will have a close choice for sure .

Rapid is using the same technology of Vento in terms of performance with same engine installation in its both variants , the Skoda petrol variant is set up with 1.6 L petrol engine of 1598 cc which generates the power of 105 Bhp and torque of 160 Nm and its diesel variant is equipped with 1.5 L diesel engine which generates same power as petrol engine but with high torque of 250 Nm. Its petrol variant is expected to give the mileage of 16.5 km pl and the diesel car is of 20 .5 km pl on highways.
